What Is KMG?

KMG – Krav Maga Global is recognized as the single most professional and internationally active Krav Maga organization, having earned the trust of security services and civilian practitioners alike. KMG has professional Global and International Teams (GIT) of instructors, personally selected and trained by Eyal to provide all aspects of the KMG organization’s training services, including civilian, military, law enforcement, VIP protection, air marshals, SWAT teams, etc.

KMG’s Krav Maga is an integrated system of self-defense, combat and fighting, VIP and third-party protection.
It is the leading system of its kind in the world, known for its practical and realistic techniques and tactics for avoiding, preventing, deterring, or otherwise handling all types of violent confrontations.
KMG’s Krav Maga system is continuing to be developed by Imi’s closest assistant, Master Eyal Yanilov, adapting it to meet the changing needs of civilians of all ages, military units, law enforcement officers, and security personnel. It is an evolving system, which provides novel solutions for dynamic situations.

Imi Sde–Or (Lichtenfeld), Founder of Krav Maga, started teaching hand-to-hand combat in the Haganah (pre-state defense militia).

Following the independence of the State of Israel - Imi continued teaching in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) School of Combat Fitness as Chief Instructor for physical fitness and hand-to-hand combat, where he developed what later became known as Krav Maga.

Imi retires from the IDF and takes Krav Maga to the civilian sector.

Ten years after Imi retired from the IDF and took Krav Maga to the civilian sector, Eyal Yanilov began studying Krav Maga under Imi’s personal tutelage.

Appointed by Imi as Head of the Professional Committee, Eyal formed the new curriculum of Krav Maga and introduced it to the other high graded Israeli instructors.

Imi awarded Eyal Master Level 3 - the highest grade in the system - and granted him the ‎Founders Diploma of Excellence (1997). Imi then entrusted Eyal with the mission of turning Krav Maga into an integrated, comprehensive, technical and tactical system.

Eyal established KMG - Krav Maga Global, a global infrastructure designed to expand Krav Maga throughout the world, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, morals and ethics.

Krav Maga Global has more than 1,500 active instructors in over 60 countries throughout the world.

Global Team of Instructors

Eyal Yanilov MASTER LEVEL 3

Eyal is the founder of Krav Maga Global. He began training Krav Maga in 1974 and currently holds the highest level in Krav Maga with Master 3. Eyal conducts courses and events around the world and is fluent in Hebrew and English.

Ze'ev Cohen MASTER LEVEL 2

Zeev became a Krav Maga instructor in 1991 and is responsible for the development and implementation of the Krav Junior program. Zeev travels the world conducting courses and events and is fluent in Hebrew and English.

TOMMY BLOM EXPERT LEVEL 5

Tommy is the highest ranked Krav Maga practitioner outside Israel. He holds a level of Expert 5 and began teaching Krav Maga in 1996. Tommy travels the world conducting courses and events and is fluent in Swedish and English.

Emmanuel Ayache EXPERT LEVEL 5

Emmanuel is the KMG Director in France. He began to train Krav Maga in 1997 and became an Instructor soon after. Emmanuel travels around the world conducting courses and events and is fluent in French, Hebrew and English.

RUNE LIND EXPERT LEVEL 5

Rune is the KMG Director of Norway. He became an instructor in 1996 and is an active member in a Military unit. Rune teaches different courses across the globe and is fluent in Norwegian and English.

ILYA DUNSKY EXPERT LEVEL 5

Ilya is a former Lotar Counter Terrorist School Instructor and became a civilian Krav Maga instructor in 2001. He travels the world teaching different courses to civilians and units and is fluent in Hebrew, English and Russian.

DR. TAL KVORES EXPERT LEVEL 4

Tal is an M.d. qualified in family practice in addition to being a Krav Maga Instructor since 1997. He travels the European continent conducting courses and events and is fluent in Hebrew, English and Russian.

Franklyn Hartkamp EXPERT LEVEL 4

Franklyn, expert level 4 in KMG spreads the KMG system across the world, teaching and instructing different main KMG courses. Franklyn is fluent in Dutch and English.
